A Fool's Tale
I am uncertain of my origins? As Many are. I know not my mother and father, brothers, sisters, uncles, or aunts. My life seems a void in time. In these days of confusion I would learn alot of my surroundings. the creatures that inhabit this world and what my new life would have to offer. I awoke in Shoushi near a LifeStone and have been here ever since. I found my way to the town, and was able to learn much of this new place with relative ease. Many were friendly, some more generous than helpful, but i stumbled on into the world in search of the questions. Where was I? Who am I? Why am I here? Why can't I remember a thing? I am not sure the answers of any of these questions, but in a few short years I would become to know a new self, a better self, and one made to live in this strange new world. I have chossen a new name for myself, Foolish One, because I cannot remember myself before this new world. I leave this, my journal, scribblings, and notes, for those who come after me and might stumble up my final resting place. I feel that day may be a long way off, yet I don't wish for all to make the mistakes and such that have led me to this place. Be Wary, you whom read this, this world is as dangerous as it is beautiful.


I was Alone in this new world. I had made a few aquaintences but none I would call Friend. As any fool would I began a trek out of shoushi, and off into the unknown world. Only after a near death experience would I come to understand this new world, and the dangers it presents. Upon my journey I came up on a few of the cat looking people (Drudges) and tried to communicate in a friendly manor. I held out some of the rations i was given in Shoushi. Those cute little creatures turned out to be quite an handful. The first one to come up actually just made some grunt noise and swiped the food from my hand, the rest of the group tried to swipe ME from my hand. This was not a situation I was prepared for. I began running back to Shoushi but had no idea how to navigate this new world. I ran until they no longer were in sight, But now I knew I was alone, scared, and out matched here. Why had I assumed that the creatures would be friendly, even helpful when all the people in the town were wearing such things as Armor? I was very affraid now, Unable to move more than a few feet without even the slightest noise scaring me and waiting 5 minutes to make sure it wasn't some unknown creature ready to attack. I don't see myself sleeping well tonight?


SO, Here I am in a strange new world. No friends, No Home, and without a clue! What would a fool do in my position? How would the Hunter proceed? There was no doubt that I would be here for sometime. I must seek outside assistance for my questions. Who? Who in this world will do more than throw scraps at me? I will find someone! No matter how long it takes. This new place might laugh at me but "I will learn, I will grow, I will adept". After such a serge of Courage and the idea of becoming the hunter instead of the hunted, I continued along the path. I don't think I traveled to far from Shoushi. Patience, it seems, paid off. Not inthe way I expected, but I was out of the wilderness. I had traveled for a much longer distance than I had realized. I found myself in the city known as "Tou Tou". More strangers, More New places, and more shopkeeps to chase you out. The people that occupied this "Tuck Away" town were friendly. The town seemed rich. Well dressed citizens everywhere. Even those that seemed to just lull around weren't dressed as peasents. I learned this town become so rich from the portal that magically wisked you to a the far city, Arwic. The trade between the two cities was frequent and plentiful. This is where I chose to live. This place seemed a good place for hard workers with nothing to lose. Tou TOU was a blessing after, this is where I met a couple of good heart to teach me that which I needed.
